Thank you all for your attendance at tonights Simplex net. Next net will be Tuesday November 19th @ 7:00 PM; will meet on 625 repeater first. I sent out the existing Simplex Roster to those whose email address I have.
Frank, Good Simplex testing tonight. I do have a suggestion for your consideration. Each month pre-identify a base unit to call the rotation and document the results based on the the net calling. Then the next time assign the next base as the caller. During each subsequent Simplex net, have Gene 762 continue to document his reception readings. I would also suggest the Gene 762 be the next Simplex Net control (super strong base) to initiate the net rotation. I think this will also give the base units an idea of their weaknesses/coverages. Just a thought.

@wrnz559 I have been debating should we have a simplex forum, or should I just post the roster for the simplex net on the nets page just as I do for all other nets. That is were I think it should go, but your opinion
@info-deck625 I this the Forum section for the Simplex Net is appropriate. It's not just a check-in but a net to experiment, test equipment, discover short falls, etc. This Forum section will provide a place where participants can express finding, procedures issues, and undocumented short falls. It will allow for a location where progressive/historical data can be reviewed...yada yada yada.
